When you donate through our resale stores, you make it possible for us to provide the much-needed support to families impacted by domestic violence. We are able to provide emergency shelter, therapy, case management, legal advocacy, supportive services, and many other resources. In addition, we offer prevention and education programs that are vital to breaking the cycle of domestic abuse, and empowering women to rebuild their lives. So much of our mission is funded through our store sales, which are dependent on the donation of new and gently used items to fill our stores. Donors do their part, and we do ours by offering easy access to stores and friendly donation attendants who provide receipts for use in preparing taxes. We accept everything from clothing and accessories to small household appliances and furnishings, books, fine china, art and other collectibles in good or new condition. Thanks to your generous donations, last year, our stores were able to repurpose and recycle goods, reducing the amount of waste sent to landfills. Laura’s House is caring for our clients and the Earth.
